Figs contain high levels of beta-carotene and potassium that protect bone tissue and helps to fight against cardiovascular and hypertension pathologies. They are rich in vitamin A, C, protein, magnesium, calcium and digestive enzymes. Figs are recommended in cases of constipation, pulmonary and urinary inflammations, gastritis, colic, asthenia and anemic conditions. They have diuretic, laxative, antimicrobial and toning properties.

The black bean is rich in vitamins A, B, C and E, minerals, iron, protein, fibers, carbohydrates, phosphorus and potassium. The back bean is also rich in glucodrina, a substance that reduces glycemia. The presence of lecithin aides to break down fats that accumulate in the blood. In addition the anthocyanins serve as a antitoxin, and the presence of bioflavonoids act as anti-tumor causing molecules, especially related to the intestine.
